Lone Star Ag Credit, a lending institution of the Farm Credit System, serving Agribusiness and rural homeowners in Texas, was seeking additional support for various critical initiatives. They were looking for consulting and assistance with project management, internal controls and process improvement, interim accounting and finance and internal audit resources, and with filling key Executive positions within the organization.
Lone Star Ag retained The CFO Suite to provide an interim controller, project management and consulting services and retained our firm for their CFO search. After assessing the situation with management and the board, we agreed upon a plan to utilize our project management and technical expertise and our excellent network of interim consultants to fill key roles to support the various initiatives. In addition, their CFO retained search required looking outside the local area and we took it national in order to find the right person. Because the CFO search was such a great success, LSAC retained us to fill their newly created CRO position, and a national search yielded another positive result!
